WANTED FOR PAKISTAN ORDNANCE FACTORIES

**Applications are invited from Male/Female citizens of Pakistan for the engagement of 150 Artisans for Batch No. 56 (1st Phase) under 'ARTISAN TRAINING SCHEME' Selected candidates will undergo training in Pakistan Ordnance Factories Institute of Technology (POFIT), Wah Cantt as per provision of Apprenticeship Ordinance, 1962. Seats are distributed as under: -**

* Merit 11 Punjab=75 Sindh-Urban-11 Sindh-Rural=17 Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 17

* Balochistan 09 Ex-FATA=05 Gilgit Baltistan=02 Azad Kashmir-03

* Total = 150

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

* i) Qualification Matric with Science (Minimum 2nd Division) 10% weightage will be given to FSc (with Physics & Math) and DAE pass candidates.

* ii) Age 17 to 21 years as on 04-03-2024

**Duration of Training** 1-1/2 years

PAYMENT OF STIPEND DURING TRAINING

* i) 50% of BPS-5 (Rs. 7615/p.m) During 1st semester (06 months)

* ii) 60% of BPS-5 (Rs. 9138/p.m) During 2nd semester (06 months)

* iii) During 3rd semester (06 months) 80% of BPS-5 (Rs. 12184/p.m)

TERMS & CONDITIONS

* a) Affidavit Fresh Entrants after their selection as Artisan will submit an affidavit on stamp paper valuing Rs. 100/- duly signed by his/her surety to complete his/her training satisfactorily.

* b) Employment It shall not be obligatory for POF Management to offer the job to all apprentices. However, successful apprentices may be absorbed in POFs subject to availability of seats, with undertaking that they will have to serve POFs, if job is offered to them.

* c) Bond Deed The Artisans, who will be offered the job as per need of POF after successful completion of their training, will have to execute the prescribed bond to serve thereafter in POFs for a minimum period of 6 years. In case of leaving, they will have to refund all the amount spent on their training including penalty of Rs.50,000/-

ACCOMMODATION

Hostel accommodation will be provided to selected candidates on demand, upon availability on first come first serve basis.

SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS

* i) Applications must be submitted online on the proforma available on our website www.pof.gov.pk latest by 04-03-2024

* ii) By post, in-complete applications and result declared after closing date will not be entertained.

* iii) Ex-Artisans who were terminated on disciplinary ground are not eligible to apply.

* iv) Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview through SMS; therefore, active Mobile Number(non-converted to any other network) should be mentioned on application proforma. However, POFs will take no responsibility for non-receipt of SMS due to any reason.

* v) Test/ interview will be conducted at Wah Cantt, Lahore, Multan, Karachi and Quetta. Center-wise list of candidates will also be displayed on POF Website.

* vi) No TA/DA shall be admissible for the test/interview.
