College Teaching Interns (CTIs) Jobs Announced in Higher Education Department 2024
The Higher Education Department has announced exciting opportunities for College Teaching Interns (CTIs) for the year 2024, aiming to enhance the academic landscape across various colleges. This initiative is designed to bring fresh talent into the educational sector, providing invaluable experience to aspiring educators.
Eligibility Criteria
For candidates aiming to apply to Graduate Colleges (BS Colleges), a higher qualification of MS, M.Phil, or Ph.D. is preferred. However, if there are no suitable candidates with these advanced degrees, applications from those holding an M.A. or M.Sc. will also be considered.
For other institutions, including community colleges, applicants must possess at least a Master's degree or a BS (Four-Year Degree Program) with a minimum of 2nd Division in the relevant subject area.
Educational Qualifications
Candidates with qualifications above a Master's degree will be prioritized. Additionally, those who have held top positions in Board or University examinations will receive special consideration during the selection process.
Interview Process
The selection will be rigorous, comprising an interview process that allocates a total of 100 marks: 85 for the interview performance, 5 for academic qualifications, and 5 each for positions held in educational institutions and any other relevant achievements.
Additional Information
There is no age limit for applicants, ensuring that everyone with the requisite qualifications can apply. However, the placement will be college-specific, and candidates must join within seven days of receiving their placement offer; otherwise, the offer will be rescinded.
Importantly, applicants must ensure that they do not have any third division in their entire educational career, as this will lead to immediate disqualification.
