Available Trades and Qualifications

1. Chemical Plant Operator
   Minimum qualification: Matric (Science) with F.Sc or a three-year diploma in Chemical Technology.

2. Mechanical Technician
   Minimum qualification: Matric (Science) with a three-year diploma in Mechanical Technology.

3. Instrument Technician
   Minimum qualification: Matric (Science) with a three-year diploma in Instrument or Electronics Technologies, or F.Sc (Pre-engineering).

4. Electrical Technician
   Minimum qualification: Matric (Science) with a three-year diploma in Electrical Technology or F.Sc (Pre-engineering).

5. Laboratory Analyst
   Minimum qualification: FSc with Chemistry.

6. Computer Operator
   Minimum qualification: ICS with one-year or three-year diploma in IT.

Eligibility Criteria

To apply for this apprenticeship program, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Age must not exceed 28 years as of May 19, 2025.
• Applicants must have at least a 2nd division in Matric (Science) with the relevant qualification.
• Candidates who are currently undergoing or have completed an apprenticeship in any industry are not eligible to apply.
• Only one trade can be applied for; duplicate applications will not be considered.
• Providing false or incomplete information will lead to disqualification at any stage.

Application Process

To apply for the apprenticeship, follow these steps:

1. Step I: Apply online via the NTS website here. Test fees can be paid through several methods including mobile banking, internet banking, or EasyPaisa. Make sure to download the fee challan from the NTS website. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test at the nearest test center.
   Test Dates:

   • 1st Test: January 5, 2025
   • 2nd Test: February 2, 2025

2. Step II: Candidates who pass the NTS test must submit their application through the FFC Career Portal by February 20, 2025. Note that the test fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.

Important Deadline
