Eligibility Criteria – Are You the Right Fit?

To apply for PMA Long Course 156, you must meet the following criteria:

1. Nationality:

✔ Only Pakistani citizens are eligible.
✔ Dual nationals must renounce their foreign nationality before selection.

2. Gender & Marital Status:

✔ Only male candidates can apply.
✔ Unmarried individuals are eligible.

3. Age Requirements (as of 1 May 2025):

✔ Intermediate (FA/FSc or equivalent): 17 – 22 years (Relaxation of 3 months in upper and lower age limits)
✔ Graduates (2 years BA/BSc): 17 – 23 years
✔ Graduates with a 4-year degree (BS/BA (Hons)/BBA/BPA): 17 – 24 years
✔ Serving Army Soldiers: 17 – 25 years

4. Educational Qualifications:

✔ Minimum FA/FSc with 60% marks.
✔ Candidates with 55% marks from Gilgit-Baltistan, FATA, or Balochistan can apply.
✔ Army personnel's children with 50% marks are eligible.

5. Physical Standards:

✔ Height: Minimum 5 feet 4 inches (162.5 cm).
✔ Weight: As per Body Mass Index (BMI).

Selection Process – How to Apply?

The PAK Army selection process is tough, but if you have the determination, you can make it through! Here’s what you need to do:

✔ Step 1: Online registration at Click Here.
✔ Step 2: Initial written test covering English, Math, General Knowledge & Intelligence.
✔ Step 3: Physical Test:

1.6 km run in 8 minutes
Push-ups: 15 reps in 2 minutes
Sit-ups: 20 reps in 2 minutes
Chin-ups: 3 reps in 2 minutes
Ditch Crossing: 7 feet long
✔ Step 4: Medical exam & interview at Army Selection & Recruitment Centers (AS&RCs).
✔ Step 5: ISSB Test & Final Interview.
✔ Final Selection: Based on overall performance.
