SECP has officially invited applications for its Graduate Training Program, as advertised in the Daily Jang on March 2, 2025. The available positions are based in Blue Area, Islamabad, and offer a structured learning environment with market-competitive compensation of Rs. 110,000 per month. Additionally, selected candidates will receive medical benefits and a one-time relocation grant for those residing outside Islamabad/Rawalpindi.
Eligibility & Qualification Requirements
Interested applicants must meet the following criteria:
Education: Master’s degree or 4-year Bachelor’s degree (16 years of education) in disciplines such as Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Insurance, Economics, Statistics, Social Sciences, Mathematics, Law, or Information Technology from an HEC-recognized institution. Holders of CFAP (ICAP), CMA, ACCA, CFA, or FRM certifications are also encouraged to apply.
Academic Performance:
At least 70% marks in the annual system or a minimum CGPA of 3.2/4.0 (or 4.0/5.0) in the semester system.
For Law graduates: Minimum 60% marks in the annual system or CGPA of 3.2/4.0 (or 4.0/5.0 in the semester system).
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years (including 2-year relaxation) as of the last application date.
Candidates with international degrees/qualifications that do not mention CGPA/percentage must provide official equivalency.
Program Duration & Career Prospects
The training program spans 12 months, with a strong potential for regular employment upon successful completion. SECP ensures that trainees gain exposure to real-world financial regulations, corporate governance, and policy implementation.
