Eligibility Criteria
- Education: Intermediate (at least “C” Grade) from a recognized Board of Education
- Screening Test: Applicants must have successfully passed the General Screening Test of Intermediate Category with at least 40% marks, conducted by the Sukkur IBA Testing Services (STS), and possess its certification
- Age Limit: Minimum 18 – Maximum 28 Years (as per Sindh Govt rules)
- Domicile: Province of Sindh (Sindh domicile holders only)
- Physical Fitness: Candidates must meet the physical standards mentioned above for the respective post
Physical Standards
For Narcotics Control Constable (Male):
- 🔹 Height: Minimum 5 feet 5 inches
- 🔹 Chest: At least 33 inches with expansion of 1.5 inches (34.5 inches)
- 🔹 Running: One mile in Eight (8) minutes
For Lady Narcotics Control Constable (Female):
- 🔹 Height: At least 5 feet 2 inches
- 🔹 Walking: 800 meters in Fourteen (14) minutes
Quota Distribution
- Rural Quota: 60% of total posts
- Urban Quota: 40% of total posts
- Minority Quota: 5% (applicable on both posts)
Important Terms & Conditions
- Applicants must apply online at the Job Portal of Government of Sindh: sjp.gov.pk
- Applicants must have passed the General Screening Test (Intermediate Category) with at least 40% marks by Sukkur IBA Testing Services (STS) and possess the STS certification.
- Age shall be calculated as per relevant rules/policy issued by the Services, General Administration and Coordination Department, Government of Sindh.
- Quota reserved for initial appointment shall be adhered to as per Law/Rules/Policy/SOPs of the Government of Sindh.
- Candidates shall be called before the Departmental Selection Committee and Physical Fitness Evaluation Committee for tests and physical test strictly in accordance with law/rules/policy/SOPs.

- Appointment shall be made under provisions of Sindh Civil Servants Act 1973 and its rules.
- Only short-listed applicants shall appear before the Departmental Selection Committee along with original documents.
- The Department reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of posts.
