Job Position:
Trade Finance Officer (OG-III)
Location: Karachi & Lahore
Education/Qualification:

Minimum Graduation or equivalent from an HEC-recognized university or institute.

Candidates with higher qualifications in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration will be preferred.
Age Limit:

Maximum 30 years (as of the closing date of application).

Candidates with up to one year of relevant banking experience will be given preference.
Key Responsibilities of a Trade Finance Officer
The selected Trade Finance Officers will be responsible for performing a wide range of trade-related operations under the supervision of NBP’s Operations Group.
Main Duties include:

Processing trade transactions such as imports, exports, LCs, and guarantees.

Managing the lodgment and retirement of import/export documents.
-
Disbursing trade-related loans including FIM, FATR, FE-25, ERF, and shipment loans.

Handling dispatch, negotiation, and collection of shipping documents.
-
Issuing and canceling shipping and bank guarantees as per SBP guidelines.

Managing advance import/export payments in compliance with State Bank of Pakistan rules.

Ensuring all transactions are executed within the prescribed Turn-Around-Time (TAT).

Advising on LC issuance, amendments, and cancellations.

Conducting day-end review and reconciliation of trade transactions.

Providing excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
This role requires accuracy, speed, and efficiency in transaction processing, along with strong coordination and communication skills.
