1. Sub-Inspector Legal (BS-14)

   • Qualification: Minimum Graduate in Law (LLB or equivalent).

2. Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) (BS-9)

   • Qualification: F.A/F.Sc or equivalent.

3. Constable (BS-5)

   • Qualification: Matric (C Grade or above).

   • Note: Candidates with higher education are also eligible even if they scored below C Grade in Matric.

Quota distribution includes:

• Open Merit: 7.5%

• Punjab (including Islamabad Capital Territory): 50%

• Sindh (Urban 40%, Rural 60%): 19%

• Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 11.5%

• Balochistan: 6%

• Gilgit Baltistan: 1%

• Merged Districts (Ex-FATA): 3%

• Azad Kashmir: 2%

Physical Standards

For Male Candidates:

• Height: Minimum 5 ft 7 inches

• Chest: 33 × 34 inches (1-inch expansion)

• Running: 1 mile in 7 minutes

For Female Candidates:

• Height: Minimum 5 ft 2 inches

• Running: 1 mile in 10 minutes

Age Limit

• Sub-Inspector Legal (BS-14): 18–30 years (5-year age relaxation as per government rules)

• ASI (BS-9): 18–25 years (with relaxation as per rules)

• Constable (BS-5): 18–25 years (with relaxation as per rules)

Recruitment Process

1. Physical Test (Height, Chest & Running)

   • Female Candidates: 05 October 2025

   • Male Candidates: 07–10 October 2025

2. Written Test

   • Date: 19 October 2025

   • Roll number slips will be provided on the day of the physical test.

3. Interview

   • Sub-Inspector Legal & ASI candidates: Central Police Office, 93 McLeod Road, Lahore

   • Constable candidates: Interviews will be conducted at divisional level offices.

4. Medical Examination

   • Final shortlisted candidates will undergo a complete medical checkup, including a drug test, hepatitis B & C screening, and overall fitness test.

5. Final Selection

   • Based strictly on merit, quota, and performance in tests and interviews.

In addition to Police recruitment, the Ministry of Railways has announced internship opportunities under the Triple Helix Model.

• Location: Directorate of IT, RAILCOP House, Islamabad

• Tenure: 6 months (non-extendable)

• Eligibility: Fresh graduates (16 years of education) in:

• Handle and operate Pakistan Railways Call Center CRM system
