The Urban Sector Planning & Management Services Unit, commonly known as Urban Unit, is inviting applications from highly motivated and skilled professionals for multiple project-based positions in Pakistan. Established under the Planning & Development Board of the Government of the Punjab, Urban Unit has been developing sustainable urban solutions for over 20 years, transforming cities into functional, attractive, and sustainable urban centers.

Urban Unit plays a pivotal role in reshaping urban culture by assisting local and provincial governments in making cities more organized and livable. They focus on urban planning, data management, waste management, and environmental research, providing opportunities for professionals who want to contribute to Pakistan’s urban development.

Available Positions 2025

1. Research Analyst – Environment

   • Vacancies: 01

   • Age Limit: Up to 35 years

   • Eligibility: Relevant education and experience in environmental research preferred.

2. Research Associate – SWM (Solid Waste Management)

   • Vacancies: 01

   • Age Limit: Up to 35 years

   • Eligibility: Candidates with prior experience in SWM or urban planning will be preferred.

3. Surveyor

   • Vacancies: 10

   • Age Limit: Up to 45 years

   • Eligibility: Surveying experience is an advantage.

4. District Data Officer

   • Vacancies: 250

   • Age Limit: Up to 45 years

   • Eligibility: Minimum 12 years of education from a recognized institute. Fresh candidates are encouraged to apply, but preference will be given to those with surveying or data collection experience.
