Eligibility Criteria

Each post requires 16 years of education in a relevant field.

  • TIO (MBS-III & IV): Criminology, Psychology, Law, Forensic Sciences, Sociology, History, Theology, IT, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Robotics, and other related fields.

  • TFIO (MBS-III & IV): Economics, Finance, Banking, Forensic Accounting, Business Administration, Commerce, Accountancy, CA, ACCA, Law.

  • CTIO (MBS-III & IV): Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing, Robotics.

  • SIO (MBS-III & IV): Criminology, Psychology, Law, Forensic Sciences, Sociology, IT, Data Science, Cybersecurity, and related fields.

Experience requirement:

  • For MBS-III posts: Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in investigation, intelligence, prosecution, cyber-crime, finance, or surveillance.

  • For MBS-IV posts: No experience required.


Assessment & Examination

Applicants will be examined and assessed according to their applied post. Key subjects include:

  • Law: Anti-Terrorism Act 1997, Prevention of Electronic Crime Act 2016, Investigation for Fair Trial Act 2013, Police Rules 1934, and Anti-Money Laundering Act 2010.

  • MS Office Skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

  • Investigation Skills: Case file preparation, interrogation, forensic analysis, cyber patrolling, CDR/IPDR analysis, digital footprints, intelligence gathering.

  • Financial Skills (for TFIO): Forensic accounting, banking channels, virtual assets tracking, money laundering detection, suspicious transaction reporting (STR/CTR).

  • Surveillance Skills (for SIO): Human intelligence, crime mapping, OSINT, GIS analysis, digital profiling, criminal intelligence gazettes.

  • Essay Writing: English essay is compulsory for most posts.

Recruitment Process

The recruitment process will be conducted under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Market-Based Salary (MBS) Policy 2025. The stages include:

  1. Initial Screening: Review of CV, academic documents, cover letter, and professional track record.

  2. Aptitude Test: Standardized GRE-based test to assess analytical, technical, and strategic skills.

  3. Competency-Based Interviews: Conducted by a three-member panel to evaluate professional capabilities.

Terms of Employment

  • Contract Basis: Initial contract up to 3 years, extendable by 2 years.

  • Salary: Market-based salary (MBS) with annual 5% increment.
