Pakistan Coast Guards (PCG) invites applications from patriotic and physically fit Pakistani citizens for various posts under the latest recruitment program 2025. The selection will be made purely on merit, ensuring transparency and equal opportunity for all eligible candidates.

Available Posts and Eligibility Criteria

1. Soldier (General Duty) – BPS-05

  • Total Vacancies: 155

  • Pay Scale: 48660–18160 (including ration allowance and government-approved benefits)

  • Education: Minimum Matric (10th class pass)

  • Age Limit: 18 to 25 years

  • Physical Fitness: Candidate must be medically and physically fit

  • Height: Minimum 5 feet 6 inches

  • Chest: 34 inches with 2 inches expansion

  • Province-wise Quota:

    • Open Merit: 07

    • Punjab: 80

    • Sindh (Urban): 12

    • Sindh (Rural): 18

    • KPK: 18

    • Balochistan: 10

    • FATA: 05

    • Azad Kashmir: 03

    • Gilgit Baltistan: 02


2. Lady Searcher (BPS-05)

  • Total Vacancies: 05 (Open Merit)

  • Pay Scale: 46660–18160 (including ration and government allowances)

  • Education: Minimum Matric

  • Age Limit: 18 to 25 years

  • Physical Fitness: Candidate must be medically and physically fit

These posts are open to both male and female candidates across Pakistan who meet the criteria and are ready to serve in uniform.




Recruitment Schedule and Centers

Candidates should report at the following recruitment centers by 7:30 AM for initial registration and physical test:

Note: Out of the total vacancies, five (05) are reserved exclusively for female candidates (Lady Searchers).


Documents Required at Registration

Candidates must bring the following original and attested photocopies (two sets) along with six passport-size photographs:

  1. Original educational certificates and mark sheets

  2. CNIC (Computerized National Identity Card) issued by NADRA

  3. Domicile certificate

  4. Six passport-size recent photographs

  5. Technical or professional qualification certificates (if any)

  6. Driving license or experience certificates (if applicable)

All documents will be verified during registration before proceeding to the next stage.


Ineligible Candidates

Applicants will be disqualified if they:

  • Were dismissed from Pakistan Coast Guards or any other government institution on disciplinary grounds.

  • Were declared unfit by a medical board of any armed or civil force.

  • Were removed due to fake educational certificates or fraudulent activities.

  • Are currently serving in armed or civil armed forces but are absent without leave or declared deserters.

  • Have discrepancies in their name or date of birth on CNIC or educational documents.


Selection Procedure

The complete selection process will include the following stages:

  1. Initial Registration

  2. Physical Fitness Test

  3. Written Test

  4. Medical Examination

  5. Interview

  6. Final Selection

  7. Issuance of Call Letter

Candidates who pass all stages successfully will receive a final call letter for joining.

  • Government employees must bring an NOC (No Objection Certificate) from their department.

  • Any candidate found with fake documents will face legal action under Pakistan law.

  • Final selection authority rests solely with the Director General, Pakistan Coast Guards.
