UHS BS Nursing Generic Admissions 2025–2026 Announced for Punjab Government Nursing Colleges

The University of Health Sciences (UHS) Lahore has officially announced BS Nursing Generic admissions for the academic session 2025–2026. These admissions are being offered under the supervision of the Specialized Healthcare and Medical Education Department, Government of Punjab, as per the admission policy issued on 21 November 2025.

UHS Lahore has been declared the Admitting University, and eligible candidates are invited to submit online applications for admission to the four year BS Nursing Generic program in various government nursing colleges across Punjab. The program will be offered under the semester system in both morning and evening shifts.

Admissions will be conducted in government nursing colleges affiliated with teaching hospitals and DHQ hospitals located throughout Punjab.

Eligibility Criteria for BS Nursing Generic

Candidates must fulfill the following eligibility conditions:

• Passed FSc Pre Medical or equivalent from a recognized board

• Minimum 50 percent marks are mandatory

• Maximum age limit is 35 years, calculated up to the closing date of application

• Punjab domicile is compulsory

• Female candidates are eligible for all nursing colleges

• Male candidates are eligible only for College of Nursing, Government Teaching Hospital Shahdara, Lahore

No age relaxation will be provided under any circumstances.

Merit Criteria

• Merit will be calculated based on FSc Pre Medical marks

• In case of equal marks, Matric marks will be considered

• If the tie still exists, the older candidate will be preferred
