Applications are invited from male and female citizens of Pakistan for engagement of 150 Artisans under Artisan Training Scheme Batch No 57 First Phase and Batch No 56 under Apprenticeship Ordinance 1962.

Selected candidates will undergo training at Pakistan Ordnance Factories Institute of Technology POFIT Wah Cantt.

Last date to apply online is 10 March 2026. Applications sent by post will not be entertained.

Eligibility Criteria

Qualification

Matric with Science minimum 2nd Division

10 percent additional weightage will be given to candidates having
FSc with Physics and Mathematics
DAE qualification

Age Limit

17 to 21 years

Duration of Training

1 and a half years

Stipend During Training

During First Semester 6 months
50 percent of BPS 5
Rs 7615 per month

During Second Semester 6 months
60 percent of BPS 5
Rs 9138 per month

During Third Semester 6 months
80 percent of BPS 5
Rs 12184 per month

Terms and Conditions

Affidavit

Selected candidates must submit an affidavit on Rs 100 stamp paper signed by surety to complete training satisfactorily.

Employment

POF management is not bound to offer employment to all apprentices. Successful trainees may be absorbed subject to availability of vacancies.

Bond Agreement

Candidates offered employment after successful training must sign a bond to serve POF for minimum 6 years.
In case of resignation, they must refund full training cost plus Rs 50,000 penalty.

Accommodation

Hostel accommodation will be provided on demand subject to availability on first come first serve basis.

Application Procedure

Applications must be submitted online through POF website before 10 March 2026.

Incomplete applications, postal applications, or results declared after closing date will not be accepted.

Ex artisans terminated on disciplinary grounds are not eligible.

Only shortlisted candidates will be called for test or interview through SMS. Active mobile number must be provided in application form.
