BS Nursing & BS Midwifery Admissions 2025-2026 – Health & Population Department Punjab

The Health & Population Department, Government of Punjab has initiated online admissions for BS Nursing (Generic) and BS Midwifery 4-year degree programs at four Schools of Nursing & Midwifery (SONMs) in Lahore, Multan, Faisalabad, and Sahiwal for the 2025-2026 session. These institutions are being upgraded under the Annual Development Plan (ADP) to provide modern training and education in nursing and midwifery.

Eligibility Criteria

BS Midwifery (Morning Session)

  • Qualification: HSSC/F.Sc (Pre-Medical) with minimum 50% marks from a recognized Board in Punjab

  • Age Limit: Maximum 35 years

  • Domicile: Punjab

  • Gender: Female only

BS Nursing (Generic) (Evening Session)

  • Qualification: HSSC/F.Sc (Pre-Medical) with minimum 50% marks from a recognized Board in Punjab

  • Age Limit: Maximum 35 years

  • Domicile: Punjab

  • Gender: Female only




Application Procedure

  • Applications must be submitted online through the centralized portal: Click Here

  • Candidates must select all schools in their order of preference.

  • Scanned documents required: CNIC (front & back), domicile, Matric & FSC certificates/result cards duly verified by BISE/IBCC.

  • Applications by post or manual submission will not be accepted.

  • Only complete online applications will be processed.

Merit Determination

  • Merit will be based on marks obtained in HSSC/F.Sc (Pre-Medical)

  • In case of tie: marks in Matriculation/SSC considered

  • If tie persists: seniority by age

Joining Procedure

  1. Candidates mark joining preference on the online portal

  2. Option to retain allocated seat or opt for up-gradation based on merit

  3. Consent given is final

  4. Admission offer letters issued by respective school principals

  5. Students download & submit admission forms at the time of joining

  6. Selected candidates must submit a surety bond and original documents

  7. Withdrawal/discontinuation requires repayment of stipend received

Additional Information

  • Admission is strictly merit-based

  • Stipend: Rs. 10,000/month

  • Admission confirmed only after document verification

  • Hostel accommodation available on merit and first-come basis

  • Misrepresentation in documents will lead to cancellation and 3-year debarment
