Section 1: Explosive Detection Section (EDS)

Retired Junior Commissioned Officer or Non-Commissioned Officer of armed forces who have certification in Bomb Disposal Course and possesses requisite field experience.

2 Operator (Explosive Detection Section) BS-05 13 18–40 Years Secondary School Certificate or equivalent qualification (second division) from a recognized Board and technical certificate (at least 6 months duration) in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, Information Technology or Radio and TV mechanic from a recognized institution.OR

Retired Non-Commissioned Officer or soldier of armed forces having technical qualification and experience.

Section 2: Surveillance Section (SS)

4 Operator (Surveillance Section) BS-05 08 18–40 Years Secondary School Certificate or equivalent qualification (second division) from a recognized Board and certification in intelligence course with at least 3 years experience in the relevant field and knowledge of Information Technology, Computer Science, or Tele Communication.OR

Retired Non-Commissioned Officer or soldier of armed forces who have certification in intelligence course and possesses requisite field experience.

Section 3: Canine Section (CS)

Important Terms & Conditions

  • Download application form from www.PunjabPolice.gov.pk
  • Submit filled application form along with Rs. 500/- fee (bank draft/pay order) and one attested photograph to the concerned office before 01 June 2026.
  • Online application last date: 15 June 2026
  • Candidates must pass both portions of the written test to qualify — failing either portion results in overall failure.
  • Test ratio: 1:3 (for shortlisting only 3 candidates per post will be called for each vacancy).
  • Candidates already in Government Service must apply through proper channel with NOC.
  • Punjab domicile holders are eligible to apply.
  • Age relaxation admissible as per Government of Punjab rules.
  • Merit will be determined strictly on the basis of written test marks.
  • Review Committee may review the results within 02 working days at www.PunjabPolice.gov.pk
  • Punjab Police (PSIA) written test will be conducted at designated centers in Lahore, Rawalpindi, Multan, Faisalabad, and other cities.
  • No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in test/interview.
