Eligibility Criteria
Education / Qualification
- Minimum Graduation or equivalent from a local or international University / College / Institute recognized by the HEC of Pakistan
- Candidates holding a Master’s degree / Islamic Banking certification / degree or diploma will be preferred
Age
- Maximum 28 years as on the last date of submission of application
Experience
- Candidates with 01 year of relevant banking experience would be preferred
- Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in product development and conversion research in line with internal requirements and best market practices (domestic and international)
- Assist in development of new and innovative Islamic products based on customer and market requirements to maximize the Bank’s revenues
- Assist in development of policies, product manuals, standard operating procedures, legal documentation, and training materials
- Provide assistance for obtaining approval from relevant approving authorities before implementation
- Review and ensure products are in line with approved underlying contracts, product features, documentation, and process flow
- Review and revamp / convert conventional products in line with the Bank’s conversion strategy
- Assist in developing Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Change Requests (CRs), User Manuals, and Test Scripts in line with Bank’s approved products and policies
- Assist in exposure draft review of SBP / IFSB / PBA and provide feedback from an Islamic product perspective
- Conduct products-related training for branch and head office staff
- Ensure all audits have no major adverse comments relating to area of responsibility
- Ensure all processes are completed within the specified Turn Around Time (TAT)
- Ensure compliance with Banking Laws, Regulations, Banking Instructions and SOPs including Shariah Compliance in all jobs and tasks
- Perform any other assignment as assigned by the supervisor(s)
Required Knowledge & Competencies
- Sound knowledge of banking products, policies, and procedures
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Sound knowledge of Islamic Banking
- Good command over MS Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)
